Gulf of Mexico
At CDMX Mining, our petroleum geologists are at the forefront of our exploratory operations, carrying out essential research and analysis that is crucial to the identification of potential mining sites. With the information they gather and provide, we are able to make informed decisions on everything from health and safety to drilling location and techniques implemented.
Currently, CDMX Mining are active in the Gulf of Mexico with projects in the Burgos Basin, Tabasco-Campeche Basin and the Macuspana Basin.
On the ground and in the labs, our scientific team performs comprehensive studies of ground samples, terrain composition, resource estimation and overall prospects. To provide the data we need to make important decisions, they are tasked with:
- Generating potential prospects
- Reviewing and evaluating prospects
- Producing in-depth risk analyses
- Mapping the structure of subsurfaces
- Producing petrophysical analysis
- Analyzing petroleum systems and geology
- Characterizing basins
- Constructing 2D and 3D maps
- Analyzing seismic data
- Estimating reserve amount
- Identifying optimal drilling location
